Parts of this documentary were originally broadcast on December 23, 1971 by Dutch documentary maker Roelof Kiers for VPRO television as "Frank Zappa Filmt 200 Motels" ("Frank Zappa Films 200 Motels"). It features backstage footage in Zappa's house and on the film set of 200 Motels.
