Background Information
The woman on the cover of the Hot Rats album crawling out of the crypt is Christine Frka.
Captain Beefheart appears on the inside back cover of Hot Rats holding a vacuum cleaner. 2 photos of Ian Underwood appear on the inside spread of Hot Rats along with FZ images in studio activity.
The UK Hot Rats sleeve was printed by MacNeill Press, London. The Bizarre & Reprise Records logos appear on front, top right-hand corner of photo, together with Cat No & the word 'Stereo'. This does not occur on the US sleeve.
Conceptual Continuity
- Hot Rats is a star in the "One Size Fits All" (1975) "universe".
