• At the start of the You Can't Do That On Stage Anymore Vol. 1 version a band member is soliciting oral sex for the whole band from a girl who wants to fly down to Orlando, Florida with them.

• The line "I will make your nose smell the glove" is a reference to This Is Spinal Tap. In this 1984 comedy film about a fictional rock group the band is trying to promote their album Smell The Glove. Another reference to smelling the glove would be made in Jesus Thinks You're A Jerk.

• The line "let's dance the blues under the megawatt moonlight" is a reference to David Bowie's song "Let's Dance" (1983), which includes the nonconsecutive lines "Put on your red shoes and dance the blues" and "Under the moonlight, this serious moonlight."
