Joe Travers works as the Vaultmeister overseeing Zappa's recordings archive originally held at Zappa's home and known as The Vault. He was raised in Erie, Pennsylvania.


He has also played drums with Dweezil Zappa, Mike Keneally, Warren Cuccurullo and Duran Duran. Travers was involved in the Zappa Plays Zappa 2006 & 2007 tours.
