The Muffin Men are a British Frank Zappa and Captain Beefheart cover band, named after the song Muffin Man.
They were founded in 1990 by Roddie Gilliard, Mike Kidson, Roddie Gilliard, Mike Smith, Jumpy, Rhino and Wacko.
The Muffin Men have performed and recorded with former Zappa bandmembers like Jimmy Carl Black, Bunk Gardner, Napoleon Murphy Brock, Mike Keneally, Don Preston, Denny Walley and Ike Willis.
