Jerrold Schatzberg.

Jerrold Schatzberg (June 26, 1927) is an American photographer and film director.

Schatzberg was a celebrity photographer for various magazine, including Esquire, McCalls and Vogue. He also took photos of rock artists, sometimes for single or album covers, like The Rolling Stones' Aftermath (1966), Aretha Franklin's I Never Loved a Man The Way I Love You and Bob Dylan's Blonde On Blonde (1966). In the 1960s, he had a relationship with actress Faye Dunaway.

Schatzberg was also active as film director, The Panic in Needle Park (1971) being his best-known picture and Scarecrow winning the 1973 Golden Palm at the Cannes Film Festival.

Schatzberg shot the album cover of We're Only In It For The Money, for which Cal Schenkel helped out with the designs and the collage cut-out.

In 1967, he also shot the well known photo of Zappa with pigtails. [1]
