The film features performances by Joan Baez, The Byrds, Ray Charles, Petula Clark, David Crosby, Bo Diddley, Donovan, The Lovin' Spoonful, David McCallum, Roger Miller, The Ronettes and The Ike & Tina Turner Revue,
Frank Zappa can be seen in the audience, as can Sky Saxon of The Seeds.
It was filmed at the Moulin Rouge on Sunset Boulevard.which was about to become the Hullabaloo, then in 1968 the Kaleidoscope and, in 1969, the Aquarius Theatre.
