- This album was rewarded with a Grammy Award[1]. This was Zappa's sixth nomination (after Dancin' Fool and Rat Tomago {both 1980}, Valley Girl {in 1983}, The Perfect Stranger {1985} and "Jazz From Hell" {also 1988}), his first win and his only win during his lifetime. Interestingly, one of the other nominees was the Herbie Hancock/Dweezil Zappa/Terry Bozzio version of Wipe Out.
