Joe De Santis (15 June 1909 - 30 August 1989) was an American actor, often typecast as tough guys. He played a recurring role in the TV series The Untouchables as Louis Latito.

De Santis was also active as a sculptor. He often came to Vito Paulekas' sculpting studio. [1]

Zappa mentioned De Santis in his list of influences inside the album sleeve of Freak Out! (1966), under the heading: "These People Have Contributed Materially In Many Ways To Make Our Music What It Is. Please Do Not Hold It Against Them".
