Bobby Martin is a member of The Band From Utopia. He wrote liner notes for the album Frank Zappa - Halloween 81 (2020). He also played on Purple Cucumber - A Tribute.

Frank Zappa: "Bobby Martin has a habit of forgetting the words to certain songs, rather consistently.
Den Simms:: He has to stay after school afterwards.

Den Simms: "I remember you saying that, I believe in Hartford or somewhere. I think later on, you made a mistake, and somebody in the audience passed you a note that said something like, "Are you gonna have to stay after school after this one", or something like that happened, didn't it?"
