Ernest Tosi was the vice principal at Antelope Valley High School, where Frank Zappa was a pupil. [1]
Zappa mentioned Ernest Tosi in the sleeve of Freak Out! (1966), under the heading: "These People Have Contributed Materially In Many Ways To Make Our Music What It Is. Please Do Not Hold It Against Them". Tosi and William Ballard actually found out about their inclusion on the record and listened to the album too. [2]
Zappa cited Tosi and Mr. Luckstead as "My favorite confrontation with authority" in: Data For Sensitive or Critical-sensitive Position (1968).
