David Fricke is an American music journalist and highly regarded rock critic and senior editor of Rolling Stone.
Frank Zappa
Fricke wrote the journalistic articles and interviews The Last Days of Frank Zappa and Rolling Stone Interview, 1986. He contributed an essay to The Hot Rats Book (2019).
He was also interviewed in the Classic Albums series documentary about Apostrophe (') / Over-Nite Sensation (2006) and Freak Out! (2021).
David Fricke wrote liner notes for The MOFO Project/Object (Deluxe Edition) (2006) and the box set The Lumpy Money Project/Object (2009). He is also mentioned and thanked in the liner notes of The MOFO Project/Object (2006) album. [1]
