Billy Graham (November 7, 1918 - February 21, 2019) was an American evangelist preacher, who acted as religious advisor to every American President from Harry Truman to Barack Obama. Graham was especially known for touring around the world, renting stadiums and preaching about God and Jesus in front of huge audiences. Contrary to many other evangelist priests, such as Jimmy Swaggart, Pat Robertson, Jerry Falwell, Oral Roberts and Jim Bakker, Graham managed to escape career-damaging scandals, although the Watergate tapes outed him as an antisemite.[1]
Zappa about Billy Graham
Zappa mentions Graham in the song The Meek Shall Inherit Nothing in the following line: "Laugh till you choke on Billy Graham. (...) They're all a waste of time."
