Animal Huxley was a girlfriend of Richard Hayward. [1]

In his book Willin': The Story of Little Feat, Ben Fong-Torres quotes Lowell George:

"And Richie came up and said 'That guy's no good. You need a good drummer. I'm your drummer'... He was with a girl, Animal Huxley was her name - a relative of Aldous Huxley [she was the granddaughter[2] of the author of "Brave New World" and "The Doors of Perception". Animal brought him to the concert."

Frank Zappa mentioned Animal Huxley in the sleeve of Freak Out! (1966), under the heading: "These People Have Contributed Materially In Many Ways To Make Our Music What It Is. Please Do Not Hold It Against Them" She also appeared in the 1968 documentary You Are What You Eat.

She provided vocals on an undated CD. [3]

  2. Unlikely as Aldous Huxley (1894 – 1963) had one son (1920 - 2005) who had one daughter (1953) - so too young.
