- 71/11/27 Rotterdam Netherlands The Ahoy. During this concert (available on some bootlegs) Zappa and the Mother sang a Dutch sentence: "Geef mij wat vloerbedekking onder deze vette zwevende sofa" ("Give me some floor coverage underneath this fat, floating sofa." ) with the audience instead of the usual German. The word "vloerbedekking" also appeared in a cartoon Zappa made with Belgian cartoonist Kamagurka in 1975. On "Theme From Lumpy Gravy" on Make A Jazz Noise Here (1988) Zappa says to the audience: "May you never hear "vloerbedekking" again."
