Papier Mache Spider

Giant or fake spiders are mentioned a few times in Zappa's work. In some of his favorite films, Beast From Haunted Cave and Queen Of Outer Space, they play a prominent role.

• Cheepnis: "The strings on the giant spider".
• Hunchentoot: His script features a giant spider, who is also mentioned in the lyrics of Flambay and Spider Of Destiny. When discussing a potential movie adaptation by Terry Gilliam and the crew of Mystery Science Theater 3000, he described Hunchentoot as "a monster movie from the spider's point of view".
