Rodan

"Rodan" is a Japanese movie monster, more specifically a giant pterodactyl, who made his debut in 1957. Together with Godzilla and Mothra he starred in his own film series, but in some movies these monsters all fight together or sometimes against each other.

One of Ahmet Zappa's middle names, "Rodan", is a reference to the monster.
