On a number of occasions, Frank Zappa took on the role of 'Fraudulent DJ', and aired his favorite music selections on radio stations. One such appearance was on radio station WPIX [now WRXP], NYC.

Later that year, Zappa returned as DJ during airtime slots on four consecutive days; 29th, 20th, 21st and 22nd November 1979.[2]
