Bruce Bickford (Seattle, 1947 - 28 April 2019 [1]) was an American animator primarily working with clay animation. He worked with Zappa between 1974 and 1980 creating the claymation work and animated performances in the movie "Baby Snakes" (1979). Bickford's animation first appeared in the Zappa TV special "A Token Of His Extreme" (1974), and can also be seen in the FZ films "The Amazing Mr. Bickford", "The Dub Room Special", and "Video From Hell".
