Ventura and Zappa
- Chesher Cat, the publisher of Everybody I Shot Is Dead, is located on Ventura Boulevard.
- Zappa's company Intercontinental Absurdities had its offices on Ventura.
- "Valley Girl" includes the lines, "On Ventura there she goes/She just bought some bitchin' clothes".
