During the 24 June 1966 concert at the Fillmore Auditorium in San Francisco, California and again at the Grande Ballroom in Detroit, Michigan (24 August 1968), Zappa and the Mothers covered The Handsome Cabin Boy. [1]

Zappa played "The Handsome Cabin Boy" from the album as a guest DJ for KSAN, San Francisco on 10 November 1968.
