Henry Cow was a British avant-garde rock/jazz band who were active between 1968 to 1978. The most permanent members were Fred Frith (guitar/violin), Tim Hodgkinson (saxophone), Andy Powell (bass), John Greaves (bass) and Chris Cutler (drums).
