Alaska: Outrage At Valdez is a 1990 French documentary about the oil tanker "Exxon Valdez" in 1989, which ran aground & dumped 11 million gallons of crude oil in the Prince Williams sound & destroying its natural habitat. The documentary was made by Jean-Michel Cousteau, the son of famous marine biologist Jacques Cousteau.
Zappa wrote the instrumental music for this film, which is all performed on Synclavier. One of his compositions, Outrage At Valdez would later be performed by the Ensemble Modern and can be found on the album The Yellow Shark.
