Mark Spitz (February 10, 1950) is an American swimmer, who became famous for winning seven gold medals at the 1972 Olympic Games in Munich, Germany. In 2008 the record was surpassed by Michael Phelps.
Spitz is featured as a constellation on the back cover of One Size Fits All.
