In 1968, he wrote the article, "Those Mothers Can Really Play" (a review of the 68/11/30 Berkeley Community Theater concert), for the San Francisco Chronicle. And in a 1969 radio interview,[1], Gleason again praised the Mothers' musicianship.[2] [3]
Founded Rolling Stone magazine with Jann Wenner in 1967.
