Willie Dixon
Willie Dixon (July 1, 1915 - January 29, 1992) was an American blues singer, arranger, bass player and record producer. He wrote many songs for blues musicians like Muddy Waters, Howlin' Wolf, Little Walter, Otis Rush, Magic Sam, Buddy Guy, Sonny Boy Williamson, Memphis Slim, Bo Diddley and rock musician Chuck Berry, many of which have become widely covered standards, including I'm Your Hoochie Coochie Man, Diddy Wah Diddy, I Just Want to Make Love to You, Little Red Rooster, My Babe, Back Door Man,Spoonful, Wang Dang Doodle, You Shook Me and You Can't Judge A Book By the Cover.

Frank Zappa included Willie Dixon in the sleeve of Freak Out! (1966) under the heading: "These People Have Contributed Materially In Many Ways To Make Our Music What It Is. Please Do Not Hold It Against Them".
Legend Of The Illinois Enema Bandit is thematically a parody of Dixon's "Back Door Man".
