Strawberry Fields Forever is a 1967 hit song by The Beatles, taken from their album Magical Mystery Tour (1967). It's widely seen as one of their best numbers.

Notes About This Song

Frank Zappa named it as one of three Beatle songs he really liked, along with Paperback Writer and I Am The Walrus. In 1988 he covered it during his tour, though under the title Texas Medley and with modified lyrics which poked fun at the Jimmy Swaggart sex scandal.
