Palmdale is a city in the Antelope Valley in northern Los Angeles County in California, close to the Mojave Desert. Between 1956 and 1958, Frank Zappa lived in Lancaster, going to the Antelope Valley High School, not very far from Palmdale. Another village closeby was Sun Village.
