David Ocker.

David Ocker was a copyist, synclavier programming engineer, and clarinetist. He was introduced by Richard Emmet to Frank Zappa. Ocker worked for Zappa between 1977 and 1984, until he was succeeded by Bob Rice. [1] He provided clarinet and/or bass clarinet for:

In 1992, Zappa contacted Ocker to work on The Yellow Shark as a musical assistant, but financial disagreements eventually led to him being replaced by Ali N. Askin. [2]
