When Bob Guy recorded the songs Dear Jeepers and Letter From Jeepers in Zappa's studio in 1963, playing his horror persona Jeepers, the letters in question are sent by and to Count Dracula.

Zappa included Bram Stoker in the list of influences in the sleeve of Frank Zappa's debut album "Freak Out!" (1966) under the heading "These People Have Contributed Materially In Many Ways To Make Our Music What It Is. Please Do Not Hold It Against Them".

Frank Zappa's composition Transylvania Boogie (1970) references the Romanian province Transylvania, where, according to Stoker's novel, Dracula's castle is located.
