Pomona is a city in California, located in the San Gabriel Valley of the Eastern Los Angeles County.
In the early 1960s, Zappa and The Ramblers often performed in a bar in Pomona. As a member of The Soul Giants, Zappa also performed in the same bar. It was here that Zappa first met Ray Collins.
