Avedis Zildjian was an Armenian/Turkish alchemist who founded the Zildjian percussion company in 1623. The company is one of the oldest private family run companies in the world. They produce a Vinnie Colaiuta drumstick in their Artist Series of sticks.
Avedis Zildjian is included in the list of names on the cover of Freak Out!.
