Helen Hayes (October 10, 1900- March 17, 1993) was an American actress, both known for her stage work as well as her film roles, such as "A Farewell to Arms" (1932) and "Airport" (1970).
She is name-dropped by Ike Willis in Sunshine Of Your Love as a pun on the previous song Purple Haze.
