Danno was a character from the TV crime series Hawaii Five-O, played by James MacArthur. He was often instructed by Steve McGarrett (Jack Lord) to arrest criminals with the line: "Book 'em Danno!"
The line "Book 'em Dano" is referenced three times in Zappa's work: No Not Now, the Thing-Fish version of You Are What You Is (The Track) and The Untouchables.
