The Internal Revenue Service is an agency of the Federal Government of the United States of America responsible for collecting taxes and administering the I.R.S. Code.

  • "Heavenly Bank Account", about televangelists and their connections to politicians, includes the line "I.R.S. can't figure out where the hook is," referring to churches violating Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Service Code by actively raising money for Republican candidates.
