Paperback Writer is a 1965 number one-hit song by The Beatles.
Frank Zappa named it one of three Beatles songs he liked, along with Strawberry Fields Forever and I Am The Walrus.
During his Star Special radio broadcast (1980) Zappa suggested that The Flying Lizards should cover Paperback Writer in the same style as Summertime Blues.
