Earle Dumler (? - July 6, 2026) was an American oboist and saxophonist. He performed with musical legends like Stan Kenton The Carpenters, Helen Reddy, Judy Collins, Leonard Cohen, Dolly Parton, Ray Parker, Jr., Barbra Streisand, Quincy Jones, Nina Simone, Neil Diamond, Jerry Goldsmith, Burt Bacharach, Meat Loaf, Barry Manilow, Michael Bolton, Basil Pouledoris, Paul Anka, Daft Punk, etc.,... He also performed oboe on Tim Buckley's album Sefronia (1973), of which the cover was designed by Cal Schenkel, with photography by Ed Caraeff.
In 2026, he passed away at age 82.

Under the alias Marginal Chagrin, he performed baritone sax on Joe's Garage Act I and Joe's Garage Acts II & III.
He was interviewed in Frank Scheffer's documentaries Frank Zappa: The Present-Day Composer Refuses To Die (2000), Frank Zappa Phase II: The Big Note (2002) and Frank Zappa: Pioneer Of Future Music, parts 1 & 2 (2007).
