David Ocker was a copyist, synclavier programming engineer, and clarinetist. He was introduced by Richard Emmet to Frank Zappa. Ocker worked for Zappa between 1977 and 1984, until he was succeeded by Bob Rice. [1] He provided clarinet and/or bass clarinet for:

- You Are What You Is
- London Symphony Orchestra Vol. I
- London Symphony Orchestra Vol. II
- Quaudiophiliac
and provided synclavier programming for:
