Henning Lohner (b. 17 July 1961) is a German film director, documentary maker and composer. He composes mostly for film soundtracks by Hans Zimmer (including Gladiator (2000).

Henning Lohner was born in 1961 in Bremen. After graduating in musicology, art history and Romanic languages at the Frankfurt University, he studied with Iannis Xenakis and Karlheinz Stockhausen.
