John Williams was an American photographer. He was involved with the cover art and/or interior design for Zappa's albums:

- Joe's Garage (the illustrations within the sleeve) [1]

Photographs taken by Williams at the recording sessions are included in the booklet with Funky Nothingness.
He hired Otis Owens to work with him from 1968 to 1970.[2]
