Suburban Lawns were an American punk group, who were active at the end of the 1970s and start of the 1980s. They are best known for their debut single "Gidget Goes to Hell" (1979).
In the interview Signs Of The Times (1991) Zappa claimed that "Gidget Goes to Hell" was one of his favorite punk records: "I thought that was good."
On WPIX, New York Zappa played "Gidget Goes to Hell" and "My Boyfriend" by Suburban Lawns.
