Jean Solé is a French comics artist born 2 April 1948 who founded magazine Fluide Glacial with Marcel Gotlib and other artists in 1975.
In the early years of Fluide Glacial, he published a comic strip parody based on Frank Zappa and Stink-Foot[1].
Around 1984, bootlegers reused parts of his comic strip to do the cover artwork for 'Tis The Season To Be Jelly.
Starting from 2003, Solé did cover artworks for the Zappa biographies by Christophe Delbrouck:
