Los Angeles Journalist, having written for The Los Angeles Times, The New York Times, Philadelphia Inquirer, L.A. Weekly, Los Angeles Herald-Examiner, Los Angeles Magazine, ICE, Musician, Spin, Guitar World.
He first interviewed Zappa in 1975. Introduced Nicolas Slonimsky to Zappa.
