Zappa Wiki Jawaka:Image use policy

Some house rules:

• Don't upload images just for the heck of it. Use this feature responsibly, and only if you think your uploaded image will add to the article you're working on.
• Before uploading: check if the image has not already been uploaded by someone before you! See: List of uploaded images
• If an image you found elsewhere is explicitely labeled as copyrighted - do not copy it to the wiki.
• Images that are in no way related to the topic of this wiki will be deleted.
• Avoid "orphaned images": do not upload images without using them in an article subsequently.
• Do not upload that 5 megabyte scan of an FZ interview in Guitarworld. Instead: transcribe it, thank you.
• Allowed filetypes: .jpg, .gif, .png. Don't upload html or php or javascript files - it will not work and will be deleted.
• Image resolution should be of 72ppi (pixels per inch).
• Soundfiles are not allowed for upload at this point. This policy may change in the future, but for now, just don't upload any .mp3 or midi or what have you, as they will be deleted.
• Give your file a sensible name before you upload. That means, no "photo1.jpg", "fz.jpg" or anything of that kind. Be as specific as possible.
• When uploading album cover art adhere to a size of 150x150px if you can.
