Guercio is credited on Freak Out.

Per a Boulder County web page, the studio burned down in 1985, and Guercio sold the land to the county in 1996.

George Duke's website says he worked with Zappa at Caribou for a week in 1975.

A memory says Zappa once said of this studio (paraphrase) that it would be the finest in the world if it weren't 5000 feet up, but that unusual things happen to instruments and their musicians at that altitude.
