Steve Greeno

Steve Greeno, aka Slev Uunofski (? - 24 June 2003) was a British photographer and web designer. He took many pictures of rock musicians and bands during the 1970s and 1980s. In 1981 he moved to the United States and lived in California from 1986 on until his death in 2003. [1] He was webmaster of the official homepage for John Cooper Clarke and made web designs for various compagnies. [2]

In 1987 he attended a rehearsal by Zappa and the Mothers at Studio City, Hollywood, of which he wrote down a report too. [3]

Together with Tom Brown he conducted the All Bass Players Are Failed Ukulele Players interview with Arthur Barrow for T'Mershi Duween, #27-28, October-November 1992. This interview is also known as Tink Walks Amok, because Barrow explains the origin story behinds the title of the song Tink Walks Amok. [4]

In 1997 Greeno wrote a novel I Thought You Were Dead, aka Pulp To Pulp in which Frank Zappa contacts private investigator Sleve Uunofski.

Steve Greeno passed away in 2003. [5]
