Kronos Quartet
The Kronos Quartet is an American string quartet, founded in San Francisco in 1973.
They premiered None Of The Above at the Herbst Theatre San Francisco, on 12th April 1985. Its members at the time were: David Harrington (violin), John Sherba (violin), Hank Dutt (viola) and Joan Jeanrenaud (cello).

I've done it on the Synclavier, so I've actually been able to listen to the stuff played as string quartest, before they ever played it. In fact, I may even suggest they do the same thing as the Ear Unit.
