Jaws is a 1975 American thriller/adventure film directed by Steven Spielberg based on Peter Benchley's novel about a killer shark attacking beachgoers. Not counting for inflation, it was the first film to break $100 million at the box office and, along with Star Wars two years later, invented the Summer Blockbuster.
Zappa and Jaws
- Zappa quoted the famous theme song (written by John Williams) in three different versions of The Blue Light (on Tinseltown Rebellion, in Galoot Up-Date on Thing-Fish, and on Halloween 81).
