Hec Leemans

Hec Leemans (January 28, 1950) is a Belgian comic strip artist, best known in Flanders for his historical adventure series "Bakelandt" and the celebrity comic "F.C. De Kampioenen" (based on the popular Flemish TV sitcom of the same name).

Leemans claims to have "special interest" in Zappa's music. He gave Zappa a cameo in the "Bakelandt" album "Het Verraad van de Repensnijder" (1979). He also drew Zappa on a personal greeting card from 1994.
