Daria was a 1997-2002 satirical animated TV series, created by Glenn Eichler and Susie Lewis Lynn as a spin-off of Mike Judge's Beavis and Butt-head. Also broadcast on MTV, it centered on Daria Morgendorffer, a sarcastic teenage girl and her snarky observations of teachers, fellow pupils, parents, siblings and other people.
In the episode That Was Then, This Is Dumb, broadcast on 16 March 1998, the characters Trent and Jesse are listening to My Guitar Wants To Kill Your Mama, while the album Weasels Ripped My Flesh is also brought in view.
